WhatsApp Communities Feature

Recently the feature of multi device support has been updated in WhatsApp, the feature of multi device support in WhatsApp was in discussion for a long time, after the arrival of this update, WhatsApp users can share their account in different devices from the same WhatsApp account. This feature in WhatsApp has been launched for both Android and iOS platforms.

We may soon get to see the Communities feature in Meta-owned WhatsApp. Already in WhatsApp, we can create a group and add many people to that group. At present, you can add 256 members to this group of WhatsApp. And group admin has limited features to control the group, but after coming to the communities feature in WhatsApp today, group admin can add many people to his community and he will be given more control than before.

This feature of WhatsApp was first spotted by XDA but currently other information about this feature has been revealed by WABetaInfo. It is being told that this community feature of WhatsApp can give a tough challenge to platforms like Telegram and Signal. Through the community feature in WhatsApp, an admin can create a community in his group. 

How will the WhatsApp Community feature work?

Once a WhatsApp user has created a community, that person will be able to add other WhatsApp users to their community through an invite link. There will be many members in a community who will be able to share their views with each other through the community, it is being told that the chatting done in the WhatsApp community will be end-to-end encrypted.

All chatting in WhatsApp community will be safe

In WhatsApp already the chatting done between two person is protected through end to end encryption, recently WhatsApp company has also provided end to end encryption to the backup taken from WhatsApp. Similarly, the chatting done in the WhatsApp community will also be end-to-end encrypted, this chat will be locked between the sender and the receiver and no one else will be able to see it. 

The community feature will be designed in a new way compared to the current WhatsApp group design, with some leaks suggesting that the community icon may appear in a squarish shape with rounded corners. Although more information is yet to come based on this, we can expect to see this feature by the end of this year.
