In partnership with Google and WhatsApp, WhatsApp users have been given an online storage which we know as Google Drive. Google company has kept 15GB of cloud storage free for each email account. In which users can store any of their data online. After the partnership of WhatsApp and Google, the storage of backup taken in WhatsApp is not counted in this 15GB available in Google Drive. For this reason, WhatsApp intends to allow users to manage the size of the backups taken on Google Drive. In WhatsApp, soon we will get to see the settings under the name Manage Backup Size.

Through the Manage Backup Size settings, WhatsApp users will be able to decide what size they need for what type of data in WhatsApp backup.  Through these settings in WhatsApp, WhatsApp users will be able to decide what type of data they want to back up on their cloud storage.  If the WhatsApp user feels that the size of the backup has been increased, then the size of the backup can be managed through these settings.
