After opening this app, we will see the button of "Find Duplicate Contacts" to tap on it, in a few seconds this application will search the duplicate contact of our mobile, after that we will find many duplicate contacts given on the screen. Will be able to delete it easily.

Delete and merge duplicate contacts via email account

In all the smartphones that are coming in the market nowadays, whenever we create a new contact, it asks us to save the contact on the email account, by the way, we can save it on any SIM card, phone storage or any email account of our choice. 

If we save our contacts on any email account then it is more beneficial for us because whenever we save any of our contacts on email account then this contact gets uploaded online also. If we have saved all our contacts on an email account then it becomes very easy to delete and merge duplicate contacts from there. 

To delete or merge duplicate contacts with the help of email account, first we have to open Google Chrome, then type 'gmail.com' in the above search box, after that we have to login with that email account on which we have created our contacts, after signing in to the email account, we will see the button of Google app with 9 dots, after that select the contact app from the option given in the list, as soon as we tap on the contact app then  There we will see the contacts saved on this email account. 

After the Contacts app is opened, we will see a panel in the left side in which Merge and Fix option will be seen, tap on it, with the help of that option we will also be able to merge or delete duplicate contacts.

With the help of the Contact app on the mobile

First of all, you have to open the Contacts app, then tap on the people given on the right top corner, open the Settings option from the given list.

There we will see Merge and Fix option, after tapping on this button all the duplicate contacts will be visible which we can merge very easily.  Once merged, all duplicate contacts will be deleted from our contact list.
